The bill
establishes 5 State Police Trooper positions to provide rural patrol. It includes a General Fund appropriation of
$460,895 and a Highway Fund allocation of $248,175 to the Department of
Public Safety in fiscal year 2023-24 to fund these positions. It also includes a General Fund
appropriation of $474,603 and a Highway Fund allocation of 255,556 in fiscal
year 2024-25 to the department. |
