Fiscal Detail and Notes
This bill provides an income tax exemption for military compensation for active duty service by members of the Armed Forces of the United States, including reserve components, when that service is performed within the State. This exemption will reduce General Fund revenue annually by $190,000 and reduce Other Special Revenue Funds revenue annually by $10,000 beginning in fiscal year 2019-20.
