An Act To Ensure Public Notification of Air Quality Violations
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 38 MRSA §589-A is enacted to read:
§ 589-A. Notification of violation to affected municipality
When the department issues a notice of violation or initiates an enforcement action for a violation of this chapter pursuant to section 347-A, the department shall provide notice of that violation to each municipality in which the violation occurred.
