Resolve, Directing the Department of Transportation To Increase the Number of Signs on the Mt. Katahdin Trail

Sec. 1. Mt. Katahdin Trail signs. Resolved: That the Department of Transportation shall develop a plan to increase the number of directional and identification signs on the Mt. Katahdin Trail, as established by Private and Special Law 1957, chapter 90. In developing the plan under this section, the department shall consider the placement of signs on the trail in the Town of Dexter, on the State Route 7 portion of the trail and at the end of the trail at Baxter State Park.

Sec. 2. Report. Resolved: That, by January 1, 2020, the Department of Transportation shall submit a report detailing the plan developed under section 1 to the Joint Standing Committee on Transportation.
