Fiscal Detail and Notes
The Department of Health and Human Services will require General Fund appropriations of $3,940,681 in fiscal year 2017-18 and $2,863,165 in fiscal year 2018-19 to provide reimbursement under the MaineCare program for medical nutritional therapy provided by physicians, licensed dietitians and dietitian nutritionists and reimbursement for obesity treatment medication. Federal Expenditures Fund allocations are also included for the FMAP match and Other Special Revenue Funds allocations for drug rebates.
