Fiscal Detail and Notes
Any additional cost to the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife as a result of the clarifications to eligibility periods for moose hunting permits, issuing complementary group fishing licenses to disabled persons or entities that service disabled groups and the elimination of the examination fee for a taxidermy license are anticipated to minor and can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
The elimination of the taxidermy license examination fee and the issuing of complementary fishing licenses for groups of disabled persons or entities that service disabled persons will result in a minor loss of General Fund revenue to the department. The amount of this revenue loss is not expected to be significant.
