Fiscal Detail and Notes
This amendment eliminates the General Fund appropriation to the Department of Health and Human Services of $17,690 in fiscal year 2017-18 and reduces the appropriation by $17,700 in fiscal year 2018-19 to delay the reimbursement to hospitals other than critical access hospitals for each day after the 10th day that a MaineCare-eligible individual is in the care of a hospital while awaiting placement in a nursing facility, until January 1, 2019. Federal Expenditures Fund allocations are also reduced for the FMAP match.
