An Act To Exempt Holders of Bear Hunting Permits from Archery Hunting License Requirements
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §10952, sub-§3 is enacted to read:
3. Exception. A person over 16 years of age may hunt for bear pursuant to subchapter 3 with a bow and arrow without an archery license under subchapter 2 if the person holds a valid bear hunting permit under section 11151, subsection 1.
