Amend the resolve by striking out everything after the title and before the summary and inserting the following:

Sec. 1. Reimbursement rate increase for home health services. Resolved: That, no later than January 1, 2019, the Department of Health and Human Services shall amend its rules in Chapter 101: MaineCare Benefits Manual, Chapter III, Section 40 to increase reimbursement rates for certain procedure codes at 15-minute units as follows:

2. G0154TE at $26.76;

3. G0156 at $17.32;

4. G0152 at $42.09;

5. G0152TF at $29.47;

6. G0151 at $41.80;

7. G0151TF at $29.27;

8. G0153 at $45.43;

9. G0153TF at $31.81; and

10. G0155 at $36.82.

SUMMARY

This amendment, which is the majority report of the committee, replaces the resolve. The amendment increases most reimbursement rates by January 1, 2019 for home health services under the Department of Health and Human Services rule Chapter 101: MaineCare Benefits Manual, Chapter III, Section 40 to 80% of the federal Medicare rates for these services. The rates for occupational therapy assistants, physical therapy assistants and speech and language assistants are increased by the same percentage increase as the respective specialists. The rates for clinical social work are increased by 30% over current rates. The resolve requires an increase of 30% over current rates.
