Amend the resolve by striking out the title and substituting the following:
‘Resolve, Directing the Commissioner of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife To Allocate 25 Moose Permits to the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians’
Amend the resolve by striking out all of the preamble (page 1, lines 1 to 14 in L.D.)
Amend the resolve in section 1 in the 2nd line (page 1, line 16 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: "That," the following: 'in areas of Aroostook County open to moose hunting under rules adopted by the commissioner'
Amend the resolve in section 1 in the 5th and 6th lines (page 1, lines 19 and 20 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "throughout Aroostook County"
Amend the resolve in section 2 in the last line (page 1, line 31 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: "permit" the following: 'issued'

This amendment, which is the minority report of the committee, removes the preamble in the resolve, changes the title and provides that the 25 moose permits allocated to the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians may be used only in areas of Aroostook County open to moose hunting under rules adopted by the Commissioner of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
