An Act To Protect Maine's Forest Rangers
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §8901, sub-§3-B is enacted to read:
3-B. Personal firearm. The Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry may not prohibit a forest ranger from carrying a personal concealed firearm for the forest ranger's protection while on duty.
SUMMARY
This bill prohibits the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry from prohibiting a forest ranger from carrying a personal concealed firearm for the forest ranger's protection while on duty.
