An Act To Allow the Hunting of Small Game Animals with a Slingshot
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §11214, sub-§1, ¶N, as enacted by PL 2003, c. 414, Pt. A, §2 and affected by c. 614, §9, is amended to read:
N. Hunt a wild animal or wild bird by any method other than by the usual method of shooting with a firearm not larger than number 10-gauge or shooting with a hand-held bow and arrow or , by falconry or by slingshot for certain small game species designated by the commissioner; or
SUMMARY
This bill allows the use of a slingshot to hunt certain small game species designated by the Commissioner of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
