|
The bill as
amended reduces by $1 the amount of each initial registration and renewal of
the various specialty license plates that is deposited into the Highway Fund,
and deposits that $1 into the Other Special Revenue Funds Specialty License
Plate Fund within the Secretary of State.
It also allocates $5 of each initial sportsman plate and $1 of each
renewal to the Highway Fund. The
overall effect is a reduction of Highway Fund revenue in fiscal year 2008-09
of $73,583, and an increase in Other Special Revenue Funds revenue by the
same amount. The bill also includes an
allocation of $123,014 to the Secretary of State in fiscal year 2008-09 for
administrative costs associated with specialty plates.
