Because federal
regulations and state rules already exclude veterans education assistance
from income in determining eligibility for the food stamp program in most
cases, it is assumed this bill would not increase program costs. Any additional costs to the Department of
Health and Human Services in implementing this bill can be absorbed by the
Department utilizing existing resources. |
