An Act To Ensure Cost-effective Training for Certified Nursing Assistants
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 32 MRSA §2158 is enacted to read:
§ 2158. Certified nursing assistant training
A program approved by the board for the clinical training of a certified nursing assistant must have a trainer-to-student ratio of not less than 1 to 5.
SUMMARY
This bill requires that a clinical training program for certified nursing assistants have a trainer-to-student ratio of not less than 1 to 5.
