An Act To Protect Inland Water Access
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §1807 is enacted to read:
§ 1807. Public hearing required before change to access to inland waters is made
A state agency shall hold a public hearing on a state agency proposal to restrict, expand or change in any way access to inland waters. This public hearing must be held near the location of the proposed restriction, expansion or change.
