Amend the bill in section 1 in the first line (page 1, line 1 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: "That the" the following: 'State Planning Office with participation from the'
Amend the bill by striking out all of section 2 and inserting the following:
‘Sec. 2. Report. Resolved: That, no later than December 15, 2007, the Executive Department, State Planning Office shall submit a report of its findings under section 1, together with any necessary implementing legislation, to the Joint Standing Committee on Business, Research and Economic Development. After receipt and review of the report, the joint standing committee may submit legislation to the Second Regular Session of the 123rd Legislature.’
