An Act To Require the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife To Track All Stocking and Transfers of Fish
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §12758-A is enacted to read:
§ 12758-A. Fish stocking and transfers
Beginning January 1, 2008, the commissioner shall track and record all the department's fish stocking events and transfers in inland waters, including, but not limited to, accidental releases. The data collected pursuant to this section must be made available to the public.
