An Act To Allow an All-terrain Vehicle To Operate on Snow without Being Registered as a Snowmobile
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §13104, sub-§1, ¶E-1 is enacted to read:
E-1. Registration under this section is not required for an ATV that has been converted to operate on snow and is registered under section 13155.

This bill provides that a registered ATV that has been converted to operate on snow is not required to also be registered as a snowmobile.
