Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. Appropriations and allocations. The following appropriations and
allocations are made.

Maine Biomedical Research Fund

 
New Initiative: Provides funds to the Maine Biomedical Research
Fund to support biomedical research in the State.

 
General Fund2002-03

 
All Other$5,000,000

 
SUMMARY

 
This bill appropriates funds to the Maine Biomedical Research
Fund to support biomedical research in the State for the fiscal
year 2002-03 in the amount of $5,000,000.
